BrytonPick: Stainless Steel Cleaning Blades

August 26, 2008 By Trish Walraven 9 Comments

In so many ways, the BrytonPick is the best all-around new product in patient oral health care.

It’s Green: One pick is reusable for up to 30 days.

It’s Cute: The BrytonPick looks like a little boomerang.

It’s Practical: Patients who absolutely will not use dental floss will be thrilled that a new option is available for food removal. This means they can stop using paper clips, business cards, matches, and fingernails.

It’s Portable: the BrytonPick comes with a credit card-sized carrying case.

It’s Brandable: the back of the carrying case can be printed with the name of your dental practice.

It’s Affordable: BrytonPicks each cost less than $2.

There’s only one problem: It’s made of metal, which makes it hard to watch the video on the BrytonPick website without getting that watery-mouth, galvanic shock sympathy shudder.

I like the product! Finally I am happy that I can smile when leaving a restaurant.
It took me couple of days to learn how to use it, and the video on the website helped me lot. Now I am addicted to it.
What I like is that with Brytonpick I have an opportunity to remove food debris after every snack during the day; thank you for such a great solution.
It is awesome, and I have to tell that on an airplane it is my lifesaver.

I’m using BrytonPick for months, actually after every snack. It is Awesome!!!
Your description is very good ….and I would like to share that I never experienced galvanic shock or any other bad feeling….maybe you should try it for the first time after a snack, which will definitely make sliding between teeth easier.

I found this product at a trade show, I was intialy puzzled but it really works great…
I rarely floss, but I am always picking with something after I eat so this saves me from using business cards like you mentioned!

A friend of mine brought this product to my attention. After using it a couple of times I’m hooked. It works exactly as described, its use is completely intuitive. I make sure that there is one in my wallet at all times for it is a life saver whenever i go to meetings.

Great that its a green product. Just did some research and saw an article on how dental floss was clogging drains and sewers in toronto canada. Does that happen often?
Where does one buy this product? the dentist? Will check out the website.
    Thanks!

Wow, a new development and way of flossing! With such advancement even in floss, a lot of people will definitely practice regular flossing! This is a great product indeed!

Someone gave me a Brytonpick and I absolutely loved it! It is THE BEST dental pick I’ve ever used in my 78 years if life.
Where can I buy more of them? I searched all the drugstores in Kelowna and couldn’t find any.

Online. They used to be sold in pharmacies like CVS or Walgreens but now they’re sold directly from the manufacturer. Current price is $25 for 15 with shipping, so that makes them less than two bucks each.

About

DentalBuzz explores rising trends in dentistry with its own slant. The speed at which new products and ideas enter the dental field can often outpace our ability to understand just exactly the direction in which we are heading. But somehow, by being a little less serious about dentistry and dental care, we might get closer to making sense of it all.

So yeah, a tongue-in-cheek pun would fit really nicely here, but that would be in bad taste. Never mind, it just happened anyways. Stop reading sidebars already and click on some content instead.
